Role Title -Executive/Sr. Executive -Career Services
Department-Career Services
Reports to-Sr. Manager Career Services


He/ She will be responsible for the Placement of students in industry and maintaining relations with Alumni and Industry.


Business Development and Client Relationship Management
Focus on campus placements for the designated campus/school.
Database Management (clients, leads, placements, all relevant data)
Coordination (student coordination, faculty coordination, end-to-end placement process etc.)
Preparing students for the interview through counselling, mock interviews and understanding the job requirements and capabilities of the student.
Meeting with existing and new clientele and understand their job requirements, hiring pattern and creating opportunities for the students.
Campus placements through on-campus and off-campus interviews, pre-placement talk, interview process until final placements.
Achieving a set placement target for the designated course and school.
Ensuring industry participation in Academy events
Coordinate promotion of industry service activities of training programs, participation in trade fairs/exhibitions etc.
Improve industry relationship to result in increased placement, internship, consultancy projects, and sponsorships.
Facilitate in the placement of students while interacting with Media / Industry
Interaction with organizations and key decision makers in the industries we cater to.
Interaction with industry bodies and associations for synergistic interaction and leveraging strengths for mutual benefit.
Intermediary between departmental initiatives and the industry including making pitches and proposals along with the team for assignments, research and execution of assignments.
Interaction for sponsorships, advertisements in publications, co-branded projects and similar initiatives.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE Any graduate/post graduate degree
Type of Industry Experience required Experience and knowledge in handling campus placements and a large number of students
Knowledge of the education industry, fashion/design/media industry
BD, Account Management, Sales Roles
No. of years of work experience required: Minimum 2-4years of relevant experience

Market Driven - Possesses deep knowledge of local market, community, business and student needs, demographics, industry forces, government and political forces, competition and perceptions regarding image/brand and educational quality

Market Analysis - Has access to and uses data to understand what drives growth in various educational markets; uses data to enable academic leaders to adapt, develop strategies and programs that improve student learning and that align with changing needs

Strategy Development- formulates a strategy on products & services, anticipates and is responsive to industry market trends by strategic decision making; clearly communicates the vision how, why and when and has enough buy-in down the line in the Academy.

Education Sector Expertise - Possesses a deep understanding of the location's history of education, its institutions, as well as the current political, economic and social conditions and can anticipate trends for the future; Understands Pearl Academys Education Business model of academia and revenue generation

Salary: INR 3,00,000 - 5,00,000 P.A.
