Job Description


Role Title -Sr .Manager Alliances
Reports to-VP Operations


In this role you will be responsible for the development of new partnerships and the execution of joint business/account plans, leading to pipeline growth via building expansion of scope with the strategic alliance partners.


Build and manage relationships with key partners - Identify, establish, and develop key executive relationships within the partner organization to enable PEARL ACADEMY partnering strategy for an identified set of partners.

Lead Business Development activity to sign up targeted accounts as joint partners.

Manage engagement of executive team at PEARL ACADEMY and at the partner to maintain alignment of key stakeholders to gain support and sign-off on the business agreement(s) between partners.

Jointly work on developing partner development plans and annual business plans for each partner, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Vertical Head, School Heads, CEO, Innovation & Development, HR, FP&A and coordinate with these groups key partnership phases:

o Engage/recruit partner;

o Activate/Onboard partner;

o Develop Partner; and,

o Manage Partner to deliver robust alliance growth.

Implement the annual plan alongside Vertical Head which strategically aligns PEARL ACADEMY and alliance partners with scalable win-win opportunities.

This will include driving partner enablement, reviving of engagements, and scouting for new initiatives working with the strategic alliance partners team to ensure proper execution of the mutually agreed business plan to enable us to achieve objectives.

Support PEARL ACADEMY with National plans that will require support from the strategic alliance partner.

Achieve the following across each alliance partner:

Joint Pipeline Management Conduct regular reviews of joint pipelines; Drive appropriate opportunity qualification. Generate increased partner BD investments in joint business development.

Partner Interlock - Assume an alliance-focused approach, working closely with Client Account Leads, Directors and partners; Ensure connection to Alliances Vertical Head to pursue further alliances opportunities.

Work on Engagement Platforms for Partnerships - Proactively generate leads and work with the team to pursue business relationships with prospective clients with a focus on Events, confluences, and other engagement platforms

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE Essential: Minimum Graduation
Desirable: MBA from a leading B-School
Type of Industry Experience required Experience in Partner Sales /Key Accounts& Alliance management at a senior level in Creative Education/Fashion/Design or other creative domains with extensive experience formulating a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plans
Compelling background building partnerships with relationships, ideally with global partners. Significant experience in onboarding partnerships in the creative domain (Fashion/Design/Media) eco-system preferred.
Outstanding track record of success as an individual contributor in a business development and alliances organization while consistently meeting/exceeding expectations.

No. of years of work experience required: Minimum 10- 14 years of relevant experience
Market Driven - Possesses deep knowledge of local market, community, business and student needs, demographics, industry forces, government and political forces, competition and perceptions regarding image/brand and educational quality

Market Analysis - Has access to and uses data to understand what drives growth in various educational markets; uses data to enable academic leaders to adapt, develop strategies and programs that improve student learning and that align with changing needs

Strategy Development- formulates the strategy on products & services, anticipates and is responsive to industry market trends by strategic decision making; clearly communicates the vision how, why and when and has enough buy-in down the line in the Academy.

Education Sector Expertise - Possesses a deep understanding of the location's history of education, its institutions, as well as the current political, economic and social conditions and can anticipate trends for the future; Understands Pearl Academys Education Business model of academia and revenue generation
